Oceanside Community Church Southern Babpist Convention

OCC Women's Ministries seeks to encourage women to grow in their faith, provide opportunities to use and sharpen spiritual gifts, and support the full ministry of the church. Our ministry to single women (widows, divorcees, and never married) is celebrating their 4-year anniversary. Each year we participate in local and national service projects, several fellowship opportunities, banquets, and a Women of Faith trip to Ft. Lauderdale this year. The purpose of this ministry is to provide fellowship and opportunities to minister to one another. This ministry is meant for those inside and outside our church that are lonely and could use some encouragement. I pray you will consider this your personal invitation to come join in the fun and fellowship. Our fellowship activities are intended to express koinonia. Believers in Christ are to come together in love, faith and encouragement. That is the essence of koinonia. Philippians 2:1-2 says, "if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from His rove, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion; then make my joy complete by being alike-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose."

Our PURPOSE is to:

LEAD WOMEN to accept Christ as their personal Savior
TEACH WOMEN to build a solid foundation in Bible Study
GIVE WOMEN an opportunity to use and sharpen their spiritual gifts
ENCOURAGE WOMEN to support the total ministry of the church

Our GOALS:

Christian fellowship is a key aspect of the Christian fife.
