Eye-Opening, Heart-Changing Experiences
The Experience
Everyone starts with the large group for worship and prayer. Toddlers-Prek students are accompanied to Under-the-Sea-Exploration room for lesson-oriented coloring, games and free play. K-Grade 5 students play an experiential game and watch a Bible video. K-Grade 1 students are accompanied to their Archaeology-themed room where they complete a reinforcement activity about the Bible story. Grade 2 - Grade 5 students are accompanied to their ancient Alchemy-themed room where they open their Bible and search for answers about a passage. Students K-Grade 5 gather in a large group again to discuss how what they experienced in the game and discovered in the Bible connects to their lives. The Toddlers-Prek students join the large group for a final worship song, prayer, and free play.
We want to maintain an environment where all students feel safe and free to engage and enjoy their experience. We uphold certain rules to support this. If children, after receiving clarity about these rules, do not follow them, we follow this procedure: 1) give them a warning, 2) have them step aside for space or a talk with a leader, 3) call a parent/guardian to assist in behavior intervention. We believe behavior can improve, and we will work to support this in respectful, uplifting ways!
